Report from France

In the first half-year, we have continued our information programme with only two public meetings:

28th January 1995

In Lyon, the professors have treat two different topics. The one, on the varied analysis made to detect a lupus or another immune disease and the other, on the treatment by steroids and the secretion of cortisol's braking. The cortisol is a steroid hormone indispensable to keep of life.

10th June 1995

Limoges. To animate the meeting, the delegate to use the video film realized while the meeting doctors/patients of the Annual General Meeting. The Region of Limousin=s persons who could not go to Assembly in Paris, have profit, of this manner, of the doctors= prestation who were present this important day.

22nd April 1995

Paris. General Assembly. A lot of people came from far and near. Meeting very interesting.

7th February 95

Into the enclosed space of the "Assemblée Nationale", the AFL+ has participated of the meeting organized by Dr Jacques BLANC, Deputy of LozPre and ancient Reporter of the Law (30th June 1975) in favour of the handicapped persons.

30th June 1995

At this date, in the magnificent Center of Education in LozPre (Montrodat), at the representative Associations= Conference, the AFL+ was present.Many things have been said to improve this Law which, in 1975, was the foremost.

12nd June 1995

The AFL+ is became adherent near of the Associative House of Health in Rennes. Our documentation will be distributed by it and we shall can made a meeting without have to research a place in the town for a future meeting.

There are also, the many demands of recuperation by others organizations and we must be prudent. Lupus is classed in the rare diseases and, sometimes, it is considered as a hidden disability.
