Our thoughts go back to November 1995 when we had our annual convention in Estoril/Portugal. It was a most remarkable event with very fine doctors and an organisation of the highest standard. We thank Rita, Rosa, and their Lupettes as Dr. Lahita called the team of the Portuguese Lupus organisation- very much for their helpful and professional assistance. A unique and marvellous event that will remain a long and happy memory for all those who were privileged to have been the guests of the Portuguese Lupus organisation.
With this Newsletter you will receive a new Register. We have changed the layout of the
Register as you will notice. It is now a booklet in the format of A5 and will be published once every year. On page 2 there is some information about Lupus, followed on the next pages by an index, the history of ELEF and the aims of ELEF. On the back page you will find the member countries of ELEF and the names of the non European Lupus organisations. We hope you will agree that the Register has been improved by these alterations.
Yes, ELEF entered into Cyberspace. You will find us in INTERNET. Professor Schneider offered ELEF some storage space on the server of the university of Duesseldorf. We are very grateful for this opportunity and thank Professor Schneider and his team for the effort and work they have put in this project.
