9th Annual Convention of ELEF in Helsinki/Finland

Now I am able to give you some preliminary information about the 9th Annual Convention in Helsinki/Finland. It will take place from 03rd - 05th October 1997. Please get your diary out and put in this date.

We will have our Convention on board a boat which goes from Helsinki to Stockholm and on the next day from Stockholm to Helsinki. The price for the cruise is approx. 1.200,00 FIM - approx. 210,00 ECU- per person. This will include a cabin for two (with a shower and possibly a TV set), two luxurious breakfasts and a buffet dinner on Friday evening. The Finnish Rheumatism Association will offer an á-la-carte dinner on Saturday evening.

For those who wish to arrive in Helsinki on Thursday, a hotel will be booked. The price for a single room will be approx. 330,00 FIM -approx. 60,00 ECU- and a double room will be approx. 430,00 FIM -approx. 75,00 ECU-.

I am sorry but at this moment only approx. prices are available. The final prices will be available in April 1997. At this time I will also inform you in a letter about the types of cabin which can be booked and will send a registration form to you.

07.00 h Arrival at Stockholm/Sweden

07.00 h - 09.00 h Breakfast on board

09.00 h - 11.00 h Sightseeing tour of Stockholm -small fee-

11.00 h - 13.00 h Shopping in Stockholm

having a rest aboard the ship

14.00 h - 18.00 h Council meeting

18.30 h Official dinner hosted by the Finnish SLE-Group

11.30 h Visit to the headquarters of the Finnish Rheumatism Association
