9th Annual Convention of ELEF

 

 

I think I am allowed to say in all your names that we are looking forward to go to Helsinki for the 9th Annual Convention from 03rd - 05th October 1997 . It will be a remarkable Convention as it will take place on a ferry going from Helsinki to Stockholm and from there back to Helsinki. There are not many organisations who will have a convention while doing a mini-cruise on a boat. I think this is something special. We have to thank our friend Jaana Manninen for all the trouble she has taken to organise this event.

 

As you will be able to see from the next pages, the program is remarkable, including a sightseeing tour in Stockholm and Helsinki on invitation of the Swedish Lupus Organisation and the Finnish Rheumatism Association.

 

The agenda of the Council meeting is full of subjects we have to deal with and the time schedule is very tight. For the reports of the delegates we have planned 10 minutes for each organisation. Therefore I kindly ask you to prepare a report of the activities of your organisation in writing for publication later in the newsletter. Thank you!

 

In December 1997 we would like to update the register of ELEF. If there have been any changes in your organisation please bring this information to Helsinki. Have you obtained an E-Mail-address recently? Please let us know.
